Tantalum win at Mobile Breakthrough Awards 2018
Tantalum Corporation has continued its recent string of success with yet another global award.
The latest comes at the Mobile Breakthrough Awards, which looks to recognise the top companies, products, innovations and people in the mobile and wireless industries today. The awards are judged by an independent panel of experts who have broad experience within the mobile technology industry.
Tantalum took home the Telematics Solution Provider of the Year award within the Internet-of-Things (IoT) category. Tantalum was in good company within the IoT category that also saw Cisco Kinetic win IoT Platform of the Year and Toshiba win the IoT Innovation Award. US based telecommunications companies Sprint and Verizon were also awarded, as were Samsung and Vodafone.
The award follows the recent U.S. launch of Tantalum’s software within the Harman Spark, enabling the product with a rich set of features, an ecosystem of services and a payment platform.
Tantalum’s products work to augment the connected vehicle experience and effectively monetise the services that can be offered to consumers. In-car services are fully integrated into the Tantalum system and mobile application, while Tantalum’s payment platform, Pay.Car, makes payments a simple one-click process for consumers and provides an easy revenue-share experience for Tantalum’s business partners.
